Tuesday Tips: How to Care for Your Hair Flower Clips
Here are some tips for taking care of your flower clips!
BowSweet products are made to last, but if your kiddos are especially hard on them, or they have found themselves through the wash or stuffed in a drawer, or you have other bows that don't look too great, here are some things you can do to make them look like new!
✿Trim any frays with sharp scissors.
✿Seal the edges of the petals with a wood burner (my favorite), or a lighter. Be careful not to get too close or spend too much time in one spot, or it will burn and/or catch fire depending on the material! If you happen to get a burnt edge, just trim the edge with scissors and try again.
✿Use an embossing gun (my favorite) or blow dryer to fluff them up, or get any folds or kinks out.
✿Use a flat iron or ribbon iron for petals that have a crease in them. Again, don't get to close or stay in one spot too long or you could melt it.

✿Most flowers could survive the washing machine, but it's best to sponge them off with warm water.
